Villanova men's basketball has been taking their team to NYC for a suit fitting for awhile, once they get on campus.

This is one of many other examples of how and why our men's basketball program is where it is. Stale with a capital STINK.

I swear there was a post that showed one of the kids at their suit fitting and he showed the lining of the suit jacket/blazer and it was orange with an SU motif. I thought it was Rule but I no longer see the post. With a lining like that I would think they get to keep the suit.

And I'm pretty sure on OVs you can give gear, so maybe this falls under that category?
 
I’m sure rules are all but out the window at this point. We’re basically in a pay for play format. Name image and likeness turned exactly into what most projected it would….PTP

There’s no place in Philly that can put together a nice suit so they have to travel 90 minutes to NYC?
 
most sites I see have him at 2 or 3 in Delaware, which i think is a much better comparison, though this might just be ranking him as a DB in the state, which I think could be accurate because most places I see have him as a WR

Exactly this. But stokes will come in more solidly built than Gill. I absolutely love Stokes. I think he’s going to be excellent.
 
Darnell Stokes-Week One. Wish I could share the stats, but what once was a pretty good paper has devolved into being just a step or two above a 'shopper':

"Indian River 35, Seaford 26
DAGSBORO – Davon Handy rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns and Darnell Stokes scored on a run and a reception as the Indians (2-0) got the past Blue Jays (1-1).

Handy scored from the 1 and Stokes caught a 20-yard TD pass from Dylan Grise. Seaford pulled within 15-7 at halftime on a 16-yard run by Vince Evans.

In the second half, Stokes scored on a 13-yard run, Grise threw a 37-yard scoring strike to Weston Werner and Handy scored from the 9."
 
In an interesting game involving 2 Syracuse WR recruits last Saturday, Smyrna (Phoenix Henriquez) defeated Caesar Rodney (Darnell Stokes, Jr.) 52-47, in the Delaware Class 3A Football Quarterfinals. Henriquez scored on a 4 yd run, but I didn't see any stats for Stokes.

That is interesting as Middletown has like 7 guys that are on first or second team and he isn't one of them. Their games are not listed on MaxPreps so no idea what games he played or what his stats were. But it appears they went 10-3.

He also doesn't have any added highlights for his senior season on Hudl.

He was pre-season ranked something like #3 prospect in the state.
