Class of 2023 DB Vincent Firenze (NY) Portal to Wake

It would be nice to have a local kid. Kind of a crapshoot how these guys will perform stepping up in division but I imagine we're not breaking the bank on NIL to get him. Hopefully he looks more intimidating now than in his high school photo.

He could be that CNY native who absolutely wants to get away. Plenty of my friends left after HS never to return...
Yeah very true, it would just be annoying because it’s BC. Or Rutgers if he goes there. Ewwww

Did Fran recruit him while in HS? If not, maybe he remembers...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Fran did not recruit a player that went to Dayton when he was the Georgia DB coach.
Sorry, guess I meant was he recruited by SU when he lived in Syracuse.

I wouldn't over think a kid wanting to check out another school just to be sure on his decision. If I had a son visiting, I'd tell him no way commit to anything until you can get home, decompress, and make the decision without getting caught up in emotions and pressure.
