Coaches trying to get an offered kid to commit on the visit is not newsworthy. It's actually their job. Kid wanting to weigh options is smart and usually the norm.

I wouldn't over think a kid wanting to check out another school just to be sure on his decision. If I had a son visiting, I'd tell him no way commit to anything until you can get home, decompress, and make the decision without getting caught up in emotions and pressure.
