Paraphrased answer as to why he canceled his visit to OSU:

"I canceled my official visit there because I had taken an unofficial visit and I felt it wasn't right for me. I made the announcement today because I just wanted to get the process over with."

It was an honest admission as to how wearing the process can be on these coveted prospects.

I can absolutely see how horribly old and annoying the process gets for these recruits. Imagine getting the endless phone calls and text messages from people trying to sell them something. I mean hell, if my parents drag a phone call out for awhile, I start rolling my eyes and hoping they wrap it up*. Now imagine a similar scenario, repeated almost daily, with people you hardly know and who are doing nothing but trying to kiss your ass?

That's got to get old after awhile.
