The key word is could. The average among NFL LB's is 6' 2" 245.

So you are right, he's probably too heavy for a LB position or will be by the time he's a freshman. Thanks for reminding me.

edit: LB's are getting faster and faster - if you are doing a 4,4 high 4.4's - 4.6's you're able tp play the position well in college or NFL. The speed allows you to drop back into pass coverage from side to side and personal speed is good anyway, turns coaches heads at the combine.

He'll probably end up as a good edge rusher (DE) or DT - has enough speed, needs to be coached up to be effective at D1.

He has the height to gain more allowing him to consider an interior position.
