I am not a fan of the system as it is. I feel like once someone is "committed", they should not be taking visits any longer. I know others disagree but I just think it's a silly system. I don't know. I'm simply saying that the verbal commitment should trigger something. I don't know the answer. Maybe just change the terminology. Because a commitment in most settings means you stop looking elsewhere, and stop putting yourself in settings where others can flirt with you.
