In the late '80's and through the '90's we had 7 seasons where we averaged at least 47,000, 4 of those were over 48,000, and a few more at 46,000. I know there have been a lot of demographic changes and college football attendance has been down, but we've seen games of over 40,000 just the last few years despite rarely being good. If we ever had a Clemson like run, I think it's possible we could get around 49,000 consistently because it would be the cool thing to do.
