In the past, SU scholarship athletes who wanted to play baseball have played for the Syracuse Junior Chiefs during the summer. It is an amateur league comprised mostly of college age athletes who play baseball in college. Good level of competition. They play a big schedule. Very possible to get scouted from there.

Used to play Wiffle ball on the corner of Ackerman & Stratford all the time back in 04-05… tell him to run it back there, it was a great spot
