The prior season, in 2024, Okunlola finished third on CU's defense with 23 pressures, behind BJ Green II (43) and Arden Walker (27) in the statistical category. Over 14 games of action with the Buffaloes, Okunlola racked up 31 tackles, including seven for a loss and three sacks.

While Okunlola will enter his next stop with just one year of eligibility remaining, there is the potential of him applying for a medical hardship waiver in 2027.

Originally from Brockton (Ma.) Thayer Academy, the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Okunlola saw action in 15 games over two seasons at Pittsburgh, before transferring to Colorado. He recorded a total of 18 tackles, six for a loss, five sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery while with the Panthers.
