Dead period question

What exactly are the rules? Was it a violation for TCU to talk to ZA during that time? By the way, interesting to remember that TCU flipped their commitment to the BE.

I think it's ok if he initiated contact.

Any kid can call a coach whenever they want, but a coach can only contact a kid 1 time a month and not during dead periods.

(coach tells a current player to contact the kid which he may know from a camp/school etc and tell him to call coach)
