upsets are what this tournament is all about
UNC still has 3 NBA front court players. They won't need Marshall to beat us they would EAT US ALIVE on the boards. Atleast KU isn't as talented and can be contained. I want no part of UNC if we are lucky enough to win the East region. Plus, I want another team that could potentially beat Kentucky alive cause I don't like them immensely.I dont get the lets hope kansas wins to knock off unc, unc without marshall is donezooooo, i want no parts of kansas

It's amazing how much of a pass Kansas gets for this - everyone remembers Syracuse-Vermont, but it wasn't even the biggest upset of the day. Kansas going down to Bucknell was, but that's almost an afterthought that people don't remember until you mention it. Weird...
Bucknell's coach didn't retire after the game and immediately take a job with ESPN.
I know Self won a NC a few years ago, but since taking the KU job, he's also lost to a #14, #13, #11 and #9. The last two as a #1 seed. This isn't talked about enough.
I'm sure their board's version of Blue Curtain and Igor harp on it. I still remember Kansas' ineptitude in the tourney under Roy, especially during the Paul Pierce years. No final fours in a 4 year stretch of 3 #1 seeds and a #2 seed from 1995 - 1998.
1995 #1 seed loses to #4 seed Virginia in sweet 16. Game was played in Kansas City, MO.
1996 #2 seed loses to #4 seed Syracuse in elite 8. Couldn't take advantage of busted bracket and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn
1997 #1 seed loses to #4 seed Arizona in sweet 16. This team was tops in the country almost the entire season.
1998 #1 seed loses to #8 seed Rhode Island in 2nd round. By far the biggest choke on this list. Totally panicked down the stretch.
