What a way to end a season.

I think they lost six or seven straight games?

And then got utterly whipped last night.

And now Todd Graham?

Ugh.

Yeah, what would we know about loising a bunch of games in a row...

True, but Erickson's team was in a very different place than we were when the season began.

I'm pretty sure he was expected to be far more competitive than we were.

And the development of his program was much farther along than the Marrone program.

ASU is now starrting all over again with a guy who may or may not stay after one year.

We on the other hand are moving ahead with a solid guy who is truly committed to Syracuse University and Central NY.

I feel much better about SU than ASU.

Heck his defense has like four players who have a legit shot of getting drafted this year. Anytime you have that many weapons that shouldn't happen. SU has what 1 guy who might get drafted to me that's a huge difference in talent

ASU will be fine. They have some significant recruiting advantages that a school like Syracuse simply does not.

The kind of recruiting advantages that appeal to a guy like Rob Gronkowski.

and every recruit in the country that enjoys the opposite sex.

just for your information Gronkowski went to the University of Arizona not ASU

And why did a 6-6 team get paired with Boise State? How about Boise vs. Houston. Kellen Moore vs. Case Keenum? I would have actually watched that.

Several years ago I remember reading an article that called Arizona State a sleeping giant - good facilities, good "intangibles", decent history. It's now maybe 15 years later and they're still sleeping. I'm sure they'll be OK...but I'm baffled by why they aren't better than they are already. They should be the "football school" in Arizona and competing with USC every year for PAC-12 titles.
