Slugger was free flowing, but could give an impassioned speech. Where is the energy? Where is the rising to the moment? Leaving it all out there? Instead we get guys sagging their heads& jogging after TOs. Need some energy.

I agree. The stoic sideline demeanor and “too cool for school” vibe don’t work.

I loved watching Desko turn bright red on the sideline when someone goofed up.

And Slugger was no shrinking violet with the refs. Gary is a mute.
