On a side note, it's incredible the manner in which the mix tapes for these kids have evolved over the past 5 years or so. I remember when they were primitive, poorly edited, and didn't really do a whole lot to showcase a players talent. Now, they are well produced slick, polished components of a sophisticated marketing program to transform these young naive kids into commodities which generate big bucks for all who can latch on to their wagon as they try to make their way to the big show of the NBA.
 
I suppose it is what it is and it was once difficult to get any information on the up and coming underclassmen in High School. You'd have to buy a magazine and hope that some of the kids had some type of connection to your program. I guess one of the advantages is that there is so much exposure for these kids that you end up being familiar with kids who end up playing for other programs and that just enriches the viewing experience of the college game.
 
It's also nice being a Syracuse fan since you know that the team that is going to be put out on the floor is going to be very competitive and especially recently, is going to have kids with big time talent who are fun to watch.  I think this year is going to be one of the most exciting to watch ever since we will be new to the ACC and have so many new talented players who will be lacing them up for the Orange. The following year is going to be one to really fasten your seat belt because I think we are going to march to a NC!
