IN CONJUCTION WITH THE SU ALUMNI CLUB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, are two exciting events that you don't want to miss!!!

SATURDAY 6:30 PM
Syracuse Basketball and Big East all-time leading scorer LAWRENCE MOTEN '95 will be out here in Los Angeles for a rare appearance. You won't have to go back to the Carrier Dome to see this Syracuse great. Some of his former basketball alumni may also appear.

BE A GOOD ORANGEMAN AND HELP SPREAD THE WORD!!!

He'll have a MEET-AND-GREET for all his fans to show his appreciation. We are working on drink specials (you can bring your kids too, just make sure they don't drink) and some SU club swag giveaways and other fun stuff. The venue also has pool tables, outdoor patio, $5 valet and street parking. Plus, it has a great and reasonable menu.

There is a potential NBA East Finals, Game 6 as well at 5:30 PT, so it also may be a great place to watch the game .

This event is open not just to Syracuse alums. You are welcome to bring and tell all your friends. There will be no cover charge before 10pm. The place turns to a club atmosphere then and will have a huge dance floor.

SOME OF LAWRENCE'S FELLOW BASKETBALL ALUMS IN THE AREA may also appear on Saturday and Sunday such as current Hollywood actor and 1996 Final Four member Elimu Nelson, big man Terrence Roberts '07, fan favorite Nick Palmer '90, sharpshooter Scott McCorkle '94, George "Flicker" Hicker '68, Frank Hamblen '69 (7 NBA Rings) Justin Thomas (2006 Marathon game) '09, new USC assistant coach Jason Hart '00, ESPN Lakers beat writer Dave McMenamin '05 and Syracuse great Stevie Thompson '90.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON - BASKETBALL PLAYING EXPERIENCE WITH 'MO

(This is a PRIVATE EVENT open only to confirmed participants and up to 4 guests each due to to gym space of double court configuration). LOCATION WILL NOT BE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED.

FREE SWEET ORANGE SU ALUMNI CLUB OF LA T-SHIRT AND OTHER SWAG FOR FIRST 5 PEOPLE CONFIRMED!!!

For a SELECT NUMBER of people on Sunday, there's a chance to play basketball or shoot hoops with the only player in school history to score 500 points in 4 consecutive seasons. And trust us, he can still play and light you up. Of course, you'll be able to record your memories to keep forever. Wind sprints will not be included.

The basketball experience will start SUNDAY AT NOON for a private PREGAME MEAL gathering to get your body ready and talk strategy (scouting report not provided).

Then from about 1:30 to 4:30 pm we hit the gym. Lawrence will lead you through stretches and warm-ups. We'll beak up into groups and the schedule will be determined based on people's skill set. People who cannot play pick-up will go through a clinic to learn the finer points from Lawrence. There will be Gatorade and water available to participants.

Then at about 6 pm, we'll head for a POST-GAME MEAL at a nearby restaurant for a Q and A session.

If you would like to to play hoops with Lawrence, please MESSAGE HENRY YOO WITH YOUR CONTACT NUMBER AND EMAIL ADDRESS.

There are a LIMITED NUMBER of spots available, so please RSVP as soon as possible and wait for confirmation.

There will be a FEE TO COVER EXPENSES for the basketball experience. A portion will go to the SU Alumni Club of Southern California.
