May be an unpopular opinion, but this is a 21+ year old adult. Most states require you to be 21 to bet, just like alcohol etc. If you think alcohol should be legal at 21, then you should also think gambling should be legal at 21. Bad things happen sometimes, but its not anyone's job to police the legal behavior of an adult.

No not if they bet on their own teams (or their own sport/league). I believe they should be allowed to bet on everything else though just like the rest of us
