8. Dylan Donahue, A, Sr., Syracuse (24G, 30A in 14 games)
With a six-point weekend, Donahue helped the Orange to wins over Carolina and Duke en route to a second-consecutive ACC championship. While teammates have stepped up around him in increasingly substantial ways, Donahue still feels like the leader that’s holding it all together.
Staying upstate, this is an appropriate place to shout out Cole Johnson, a junior attackman from Army (35G, 37A in 16 games), who helped the Black Knights to the Patriot League championship game and whose season will likely end vs. Notre Dame this weekend. The Seattle native has been a revelation and will likely be a mainstay on top 10 lists heading into 2017.
