I never heard of them until they opened a location in Syracuse.  Today was the grand opening of their new store on Bridge St in DeWitt.  I attended.

There was a big crowd there.  Had to wait in line 10 minutes to get an order in, but they were very efficient.  Got an Uncle Louie (roast beef, ham and turkey) on a sesame seed roll.

The roll was really good.  From what I understand, the rolls are a big deal for them.  I can see why.  The veggies and meats were of high quality too.  Combo meal with chips and a soda was $11.10 American.  I recommend stopping by if you like a good sub.

Why post about it on the basketball board?

Well, while we were eating our subs, my friends and I noticed a distinguished older gentlemen in a USA warmup suit patiently waiting with everyone one.  It was JB.  I was interested to see if anyone behind the counter would recognize him, ask to take a picture with him, etc.

No.  The kid who waited on him just took his order, made his sub and sent him on his way to pay for it.  And no, I don't know what he ordered.

So if you want to have a possible encounter with a hall of fame coach with a large but fuzzy number of career wins, you might want to hang out there.
