One of the newest lawsuits against Watson noted that Watson previously had offered each plaintiff $100,000 to settle their cases, but not all would accept that amount, “due to the aggressive nondisclosure agreement that Watson’s team proposed.” Similarly, the terms of the settlements might never be revealed.
Even if bumped that to $250k at 20 women, that's $5m.
He had that money with Houston.
I'm betting three of the remaining four will settle for around a million.
The one who staunchly is holding out, is the original accuser. That would lead one to believe that she probably had a bad experience with him.
I'd also venture a guess that most of those who already settled were opportunists, who may have had a documented interaction with him, but nothing shady went down during those meetings... Or both parties agreed to whatever went down in advance.
