They should have seen that either Mali (as a top 25 player) would turn pro or Frank or Kaleb would transfer (in fact both of those things actually happened). only one of Howard or Joseph was going to get a lot of playing time in ‘15-16 because MG and Cooney were the ensconced starters at the guard spots.  If Hop has been in charge I think he would have rolled the dice with KH and assumed scholarship issues would work themselves out at the end of the season. But JB is more conservative when it comes to roster management issues, imo.
