Here is an interesting thread on the George Washington fan forum which shows how quickly Huerter went from getting mid major offers to high major.

I don't quite understand the fascination with upstate NY but this kid looks ok. Skinny (shocking) but maybe he starts to fill out. Looks like a potential combo guard. Mid-low major offers so far- including Davidson.  Helped team beat perennial power Mount Vernon for Class AA chip (albeit an extremely young and small MV team). Winners are good.

Here is a post from Francis from 4/15/15 that shows the same thing.  Huerter blew up fast and we weren't in a position to make him an offer.

Anyway, Huerter's team won the NY state chip last month and he has several A-10/New Big East teams interested. I think Xavier offered and Creighton is suppose to next. Solid player, but not somebody with our tight scholarship limit that I see us being seriously involved with.

And this is from Sept 2015.  Right before his senior year of HS when he visited Maryland and basically verballed on the spot.  He had already visited Villanova and cancelled plans to visit Michigan and Notre Dame.
