Since the 64+ team era started in 1985, Syracuse is 20-4 in the 1st round. 2 of those happened to be very memorable and spaced out just enough that SU got that undeserved rap. Arizona is 17-10, so their reputation is much more deserved.

13 Vermont
12 Texas AM

But we've also lost to a few double digit seeds in the 2nd round: Marquette, Rhode Island and Navy.
