I dont get the Bud hatred

If you dont like what he writes...then dont read it. Im not picking on the OP but for gods sake stop complaining about it.

I feel like I am back to teaching a 3 year old not to stick his hand in a light socket.

The last time I read one of his articles it was by accident. It was page 3 or 4 on the sports page and it was a continued story from page one and while I was reading it I said to myself, "What the heck is the drivel?" I then looked and saw it was the continuation on the page one and it was BP...that was about 2 or 3 years ago. I will not click that link as I find his writing annoying and sarcastically bitter.

That's exactly what happened with me the other day when he wrote that story about Missy Shafer.

I hope he didn't write anything bad about her she seems like a very good person. I can't imagine what it's like to be the spouse of a coach and constantly reading negative. The coach knows what he is getting into and in most cases can deflect it but spouses and kids...that is tough.

until his article involving Shafers wife I didn't get the hatred either. Especially having met him a couple of times he's a harmless enough scribe. But the missy article was over the line of bad form and taste imho and many others let him know about it. I have a feeling an apology of some type if forthcoming (if it hasn't already to her).

Anyway I'll go back to reading him and the rest and move on. BFD on the whole issue in general.

Who was once a whiz bang reporter that did Jimmy Olsen proud in Metropolis has lost his way. When a well known neck cracker gave his last huzzah and turned on the professor of prose you knew something was wrong.
