For taking mercy on us. He tried to run the clock out from the first time they had the ball in the 2nd half. They could have scored 100 today and I truly believe that. Did we play safeties today? Their WRs were uncovered on the tds and their backs only had to break the line of scrimmage To go 80 yards. It’s biblically bad.

Addazio is coaching better than Dino has for their period of coaching. Addazio hasn’t had Dungey is the difference more I see

We like to mock Steve bc he’s gruff and a bit of a hot head. Dino is polished and a good sound bite. Similar to the way Pasqualoni was vanquished because he was a terrible self promoter, Dino is maybe the best I’ve seen

I want results not marketing. This is the biggest failure of positive momentum since 1993. Unacceptable.

addazio had a 3-9 year and maxes out at 7 wins at BC. let's not go crazy. our team sucks and an ok team murdered us but let's not build a moosedouche statue

He’s had 7 wins 5 of his last 6 years. Would you take that over our last 6 years? Call him all the names you want,he’s always been a decent coach. I have no idea what people here have against him including you.

i don't have anything against him, i just would rather shoot for better seasons that he'll give you, i'd rather take more risk. i make fun of him, that's all. they can make fun of our guys, that's how it goes.

I see this the other way around - why do people here defend him so much?

Yes, let’s dismiss the idea that Dungey had anything to do with

Yep, not a chance that Dungey had a bit to do with last year’s success.

Dino Dino aye yi yi.
Addazio has been around a while and has never had QBs. Probably a reason for it.

He didn't. They were snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the play clock on the 3rd quarter. It was only in the second half of the 4th quarter that they started letting the play clock run all the way down.

The funny thing is, the guy you thought you were getting in DB isn't the guy we have after year 4 years. What happened to the offense we thought we were getting. I realize it's only year 4, our team is young, DB hasn't had a chance to recruit and teach his guys, the 1.5 years to implement his "system" was just coach speak and it probably takes like 7 - 8 years but other then pointing at cool stats like completion %... where is this offense guru we thought we were getting.

Addazio was the guy the alum players wanted in 2004 right? Or was that after Grob? anyway at that point in time it would have been a good hire.

I agree with this. The big unknown about babers (recruiting) is of course the Achilles heel because that is life for us

I still want pure leachiness fwiw

Leach is a mad scientist and innovator. I really thought we'd see more of this from Dino. This year, it seems like he and Lynch have the George Costanza "do the opposite" mindset and try to attack defenses where they are strong. I expected with the O-line turnover we would see a lot more slants, quick reads, and plays designed to get the ball out of Tommy's hands as quickly as possible, a la Leach year 1 on the Palouse. Maybe that sort of dink and dunk doesn't quite fit the tempo he wants, but neither do three and outs.

Addazio is a very good coach.

You have me curious as to what you think that reason is? In Addazio's post game presser yesterday he commented how he's an OL coach by heart, so to speak. That being the case, it's no surprise how BC's OL is typically so stout, etc. and a huge reason for them obliviating us yesterday. Why wouldn't any QB want to play for a coach who typically has such a great OL? I heard the analyst yesterday say on a few occasions how their OL is the best in the ACC, and possibly the nation.

In fairness, what i said is a little of an exaggeration. We’ve signs of what we can do, in parts of games, in parts of seasons, against good competition. But then there are an awful lot of times in the last 4 years I’m not sure what the hell I’m wAtching.

He won't develop passers in practice and he won't throw a lot in games. I think there are big tradeoffs with limited practice time. Everyone other than factories (including Babers) faces them. Their approach makes more sense from them than it would here because of dome vs outdoors

OL is the position that responds best to developement/coaching. You can coach those 3 star linemen to be very good. Adazzio routinely goes 500+ because of his Oline focus.

Those boring old school fundamentals folks laugh at, because it's tough to win more than 7. If nothing else, its consistent. Add some skill positions/flash to that? Now you've got something. I'll never apologize for enjoying old school fundamental play, while enjoying some flash.

Boston may be one of the worst college sports towns in the country.
