Yeah the timeout makes no sense of the decision is made to kick. Run it down to nothing and the. Call timeout. You have a chance to win the game and the coach needs to think quick on his feet. Dino is incapable of that

The real issue is if John doesn’t make the move this year. If a move isn’t made after this year he needs to go as well.

Dino does a lot of good things but some of the in game decisions are baffling. Andre has been mediocre this season for whatever reason and there were 40 seconds left. kicking makes little sense there.

I think kicking was the correct call, but omg the clock management !!!! Run it down, know what you are going to do, no timeout. Kicker should be able to hit from 48 indoors. Even if we make the 4th down, we probably don’t get a TD, so sooner or later it is on the kicker.

also, earlier, terrible non call on the Alford play, though scharder redeemed w a first down.

If it’s 38 yards sure. But the chances of making a 48 yard field goal is almost certainly less than converting 4th and 1. It’s maddening.
