Dino to Ohio St?

Sorry hes the 2nd or 3rd hottest name not at a blue blood and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Taggart didn't have a good overall record at USF.

We are the only school to play in a climate controlled Dome now that Idaho is 1AA, the ACC is softening up and Clemson could be our only true roadblock to a playoff spot, and it should be his team and his guys starting next year. If you raise his salary enough those might be enough reasons to stay. I mean he gets offered the Tennessee job last year if we win a few more games with how that search went I don't think its a lock he takes it and walks into that show. But every job that opens up where he can recruit 5 star prospects will be a reason to worry.

Even though our recruiting classes aren't ranked that high I think we are pretty close to cementing ourselves as #2 team in the ACC and we know we can beat Clemson. We might be able to keep him long term with the right contract and money for assistants.
FSU has too much tradition and local talent to ever fall off for good. And you're awfully quick to cement us as #2 when haven't even finished the season at #4. Our best finish was Shafer's first year and we tied for 3rd in the Atlantic. Horse, then cart.

“Bill Belichick: 50-to-1”. To OSU?? The list is bunk.

I don’t think there is a single soul on earth thinking he’s going to tOSU.

I posted the article because I think it’s interesting to see our HC listed for 1 of the top 3 CFB jobs in the country.
Anomander, I don't mean to single you out at all. These threads are common every year.

I just get upset by them popping up all the time. Not one of us is allowed to enjoy a win without getting ourselves bogged down in this mess of speculation, worry, and handwringing.

Lemme just say this to anyone who believes Syracuse is always going to lose its coach:

Every Syracuse coach to leave since Macpherson were 1) Fired OR 2) Left for the NFL.

Am I wrong on this? If I am, I stand corrected

The dice have no memory.

That is correct. I always wonder if we would have lost P to Penn St had Paterno croaked in say 1996 post Clemson Gator Bowl blowout. I would think that job would have been the only one he would leave for. Loyal guy for sure

Why would they let go of Urban-one of the top 3 coaches in the sport? Why post this?
Because it was beyond ridiculous, and a really good laugh? Cracked me up.

They put Dino in the same category as Bellichick. That was cool, but the entire premise, and list, is a riot.

Meyer will leave for “family/health reasons” just like he did at Florida. When the pressure gets too high, he wilts and runs. He doesn’t deal with adversity well.

Don't they have their eyes on the Umass coach?
I just want northeast football to build up. I'm not one of these closet Alabama, OSU or Notre Dame fans that follow the Orange and post here as their local team, but not their "real" team. Actually, the UMASS/UCONN game could be some fun to watch. I just hope you're not in denial about Dino's future the way you were during the election in 2016.

You mean the election where the loser got more than 3 million votes than the winner? lol What bowl game are the Minuteman going to this year? And by the way, a build up in the northeast hurts us. There just aren't enough good football players in New England and New York. Any good football player than UConn or Umass gets that we want, and I doubt there are many, hurts us. I don't see how UMass can survive

Prolly in the market for a new coach at this point. Maybe Shafer could go up there. By the way, you must know the demographics have drastically in New York and New England over the last 20 years.

I know that there just aren't that many d-1 football players

The real problem would be if Urban leaves it starts off a chain reaction at a bunch of schools.

League is down and the spot is up for grabs.

When a D first coach like Addazio is a top coach in the league 2 years after their fans had banners to fire him when we played them it puts into perspective how good our coach is.

FSU is FSU but I think we have a period of a few years where they will underacheive eventually the 5 stars will figure it out but they aren't good we didn't even play well that game and left a ton of points on the field.

The ACC isn't that good historically and right now BC ran the league in the mid 2000s when they joined it after being mediocre in the Big East. Its respected enough to send Clemson to the playoffs 4/5 years most likely though AND Clemson is as good as the top SEC programs but its just them.

You can easily take the contrarian POV of the Syracuse Head Football coach job look at our recruiting rankings vs other P5 teams and not be wrong I'm just highlighting the positives.

VT is one of the top ACC programs almost by default and they got humiliated at home by GT tonight. I think the U is going to get blown out in Chestnut Hill tomorrow. BC blew out FSU last year and might do it again. I think we will win easily there and beat them like the Diamond Ferri game.

We are in great shape if we keep this guy.

"You mean the election where the loser got more than 3 million votes than the winner?"

NYC, LA and San Francisco's resident idiots do not deserve to be counted. Can you imagine the United "States with no borders permanently ruled by one party, the Democratic Revolutionary Workers Party; socialism forever?

NYC, San Francisco, LA, shouldn't be counted?? One thing about the socialists of California and New York, they are sick of sending their tax dollars to the welfare recipients of Alaska. Can they have their money back, please. What is the date that you citizens of Alaska get your welfare check from us tax payers here in the lower 48? Just looked it up, $2000 a year just to live there for every citizen of the state. LOL There must be a term for that.

It's USC we have to worry about, not OSU. 1 more loss out there and Helton is toast..

Could be another loss Sat. We’re down to the third string QB. Daniels and Fink are probably out.

And still have Notre Dame, looking at 7-5, see ya.

...and it's based on oil revenues collected by the state.
