We need to listen closely to GS, he is usually pretty upfront about what is happening. I think he also talked about or alluded to "adjustments in recruiting" as one of the reasons he is coming back. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark that this is specifically in reference to the OL. Just follow all the offers and portal attention since the end of the regular season.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was also thinking we need another impact receiver via transfer portal. One that has shown he can break press coverage.

I think Anae is going to get his wish (or what I perceive as his wish) and not have to worry about feeding carries to an RB anymore. They won't hold up. Use them often in the passing game, and occasionally in the running game.

I love that GS is mentioning Villari as someone he's excited to get the ball too. I think every poster and their mother see's this guy as someone who has the athleticism and talent to be that pass catching TE we sorely need.

Meaningless does mean meaningless and the word itself has different meanings depending on the context it’s used in. As most words do.

I’m pretty sure a majority of the board understands what people mean when they say the bowl is meaningless for Tucker to play in. Nobody has taken that as the poster is saying the bowl itself is meaningless. And that’s what people have said and that’s what people have meant by it. It’s pretty straightforward.

Again, not being mean but you’re letting your anger/frustration that Tucker might not play in your 1st bowl impact your thoughts. And that’s fine.

I disagree that our receivers drop the ball much more than others. Watch other teams (including NFL) and you'll see that everyone has some dropped passes.

I haven’t seen any stats on our drops so I’m fine with being corrected if our corps drops at a rate similar to other programs. It doesn’t seem that way but I could be wrong.

What exactly was his injury? He sure never looked injured to me when he broke into the open field.

Injury talk was always just speculation because he didn’t run like he did last year. Was it an injury that made him dance so much this year and run so much east west instead of his one cut and go?

I don’t if he was injured or not but…… if he was injured Allen and/or our New Mexico transfer should have played more than they did. They couldn’t even find the field most of the year. So if I was a scout I’d maybe question whether he was hurt, even if told he was hurt. He still played almost every snap at RB.

If he was hurt then that’s an issue with the coaching staff b/c we have two potentially capable RB’s. We also need to know if they can play, so why wait till next year if Tucker was hurt.

The whole thing makes no sense regardless of whether you buy into either side of the hurt, not hurt argument.

See I saw last year how he would hop up always. This year he avoided contact like the plaque. Also needed help up often. I also was told he had issues or owie
