After watching Dino's presser and interviews, it is very clear that this is a ramped up Dino from last year. He in no way is looking for any pats on the back or moral victories. He clearly believes in this team, and not that he hasn't before, I just think it's at a higher level. Not much surprise that his players were able to beat down FSU and take Clemson to the wire with players that (and I say this respectfully) just aren't nearly as talented. Next's week game is gigantic. We win, we're right back on path at 5-1 and all (most) dreams still in tact. I expect a team who takes Pitt behind the woodshed and says hello.

Dungey looked pretty pissed in his post-game interview. He said that things are gonna be "different" than we've been after a loss in the last few years. One thing's for certain, Pitt's defense is nowhere near Clemson's and this Dungey seems highly motivated after a loss.

Action is the only thing that matters. I love the enthusiasm and it’s great for the team but means nothing without the performance to back it up. Not to be Debbie downer but all teams are motivated after losses, this isn’t something just happening at SU. The only thing that matters is not losing the rest of our games.

I hear ya, and I agree. My point was that you can see, interviews and play, that the team's expectations are higher than any other time before. You can talk positive all you want, but if you don't truly believe in what you're saying, it doesn't matter. There is no question, this team believes they can run the table. It's just different than anything in the last 15+ years. As a hard core fan, I'm -n excited as hell!

These guys aren't like some of the fans. They expect to win and are PO'd when they don't. You knew by Babers comments at the end of last year that 2018 was going to be special that he was preparing for a breakout year. All the comments he has made leading up to this season should have told everyone that he feels he has enough pieces to compete with the best of the ACC this season.

I definitely agree with all of that too. I'm just trying to temper my expectations even though I think we have the right temperament and now enough depth/skilled players to make some waves this year.

Im not surprised Dungey was upset. He didn't play particularly well today.
Short armed a lot of throws. Interception should have been a little more air under it and it woulda been a td.
