That no show is on him.
That no show is on him.
That no show is on him.
That's some Grandmaster level chess playing, right there. There was a sad stat in the Axe recap article.
Dino has lost by 30+ ten times.
Happened to Shafer 3 times. (all in his first year, 2013, eventual national champ Florida State, Clemson, the Georgia Tech 3-4 debacle).
Happened to Marrone once. (Pitt game in the Dome, 2010).

Would love to know the combined records of those 10 teams.
Close your eyes.......He just needs 10 years. All the great coaches do.
Louisville seeing Syracuse on the schedule every year…2016 - Louisville, @ Clemson, Florida State.
2017 - @Louisville
2018 - @ND (NYC)
2019 - @Maryland, BC, Clemson
2020 - @Louisville
2021 - @Louisville
Louisville is 4 out of 10. And 2019, we managed to score, but gave up 56 and lost by 22. Scott Satterfield against a Dino defense appears to be quite a mismatch.
First 5 in 2016 to 2018 were all pretty good teams. 2017 Louisville wasn't ranked, but still had Lamar.
2019 Maryland was terrible. BC was average at best (6-6 regular season).
2020 Louisville was not good (4-7)
2021 Louisville is average (5-5)
Not trending well.
I hope soI actually appreciate this press conference because Dino seemed pissed off.
And he should be. The team came out and basically said “I don’t want to play today.”
I think we see a different team this weekend at NC State
That's nice...
ON HOW TO ATTACK SYRACUSE’S ACTIVE DEFENSE
You’ve got to be smart with how much you ask your guys to do. I think you’ve got to have good rules. Your guys have got to be able to play fast with them. You’ve got to know that they are going to make some plays. They’re going to commit a lot of guys to the box. They are going to stunt. They are going to blitz. They are a lot like us and Mississippi State and some of the other three-down teams that have active movement on their fronts.
You can’t do too much. I think the more you do, the more your guys think and the slower you play. All of a sudden that stuff starts getting in your backfield. That’s not good. We’ve just got to be good at what we do and make sure we’re doing things that our kids can handle. It’s hard to ID some of the stuff they do a lot, but the stuff that we can ID we’ve got to be smart about how we attack it.
ON IF THEY LOOK SPECIFICALLY AT FILM OF TEAMS THAT HAVE HAD SUCCESS MOVING THE BALL ON SYRACUSE
We watch every film. You’re going to look at the statistics of every game on both sides of the football and special teams. Who did well, who didn’t do well and why did that happen? So, we’re definitely going to do that as part of breaking down the team and see who does things similar to us and were those things successful or not successful. And then it’s looking at the personnel matchups. Where are we going to have our hands full? Like number 18 [Cody Roscoe] for them has 20 tackles in the backfield. Eight sacks and 23 TFLs. He’s a really good player.
Kingsley [Jonathan] has been there forever. I think that guy’s been there for eight years, the other defensive end number 9. That guy makes a ton of plays. They’ve got a good defensive line. I think it’s really important, and coach Garrison and coach Beck will do this and coach Roper, what part of the blocking schemes for the protections and play actions and run game fit best. Who’s had similar pictures we can study to see if our ideas are good ideas?
Wish I shared your optimismI actually appreciate this press conference because Dino seemed pissed off.
