Dino's Game 6 Press Conference for Wake: 11 AM

Totally disagree that it went straight to the trash. I am positive that the boys in Greensboro grabbed some coffee and donuts, gathered in a circle, ran the whole thing through a shredder, urinated on it, and then dumped it in the trash. Tobacco Road has SOPs for this sort of thing.

Nah, no coffee... sweet tea.

I’m worried that Dino will lose this locker room if they lose a couple more games in a row, you already hear rumblings about it now.

I'd bet the locker room is closer together today.

I'm curious on this stuff though. If you enter the transfer portal, do you just pack your things and leave? Or are you still there, going to school, living with your football player teammate, going to the same parties?

IMO if you're on scholarship and you quit the team for non-medical reasons, you should be removed from classes as well.

And you heard this how? From your cousin whose wife knows somebody who is a janitor in the football complex who overheard players talking?
Side bet, before season ends at least two more players leave team. And I didn’t say he had lost team, I said rumblings and I don’t just say something to stir things up.

T-Devs and who else?

Also, you then have an open schollie for the portal door to swing the other way...

the ones in my stomach, I need some lunch. locker room? haven't heard a damn thing, the team sure plays like they are together, this isn't 2019 where it was blatantly obvious they weren't
Little bit more solid then the rumblings in your stomach I promise ya that boss. Again not saying it’s a fact but my source is as solid as it needs to be for me to say it.

Are they both locker room cancers?

If that’s the side bet, what’s the main bet?

With 100 or so players on the team, always bound to be a few that are unhappy.

How do You determine which kids are locker room cancers? We are talking about young adults between 18-22 years of age. Lots of people say Taj was a locker room cancer but I’m sure others would say the opposite.

I know what Bill Parcells would say.

What would he say?

Wasn't he the guy who said that on a roster, you've got 10 percent who are positive leaders, and 10% who are potentially negative leaders if given that opportunity, and 80% who can be influenced either way by the dynamics of the locker room.

So it is incumbent upon the coaches to control those dynamics -- by not showing favoritism / enabling troubled players, by supporting the positive leadership, etc. -- to make sure that 90% goes in the positive direction instead of the other way around.

Baber might of loss the locker room if Devito remained the starting QB....Shrader always stated the staff couldn't truly evaluate him until things went live....

The one thing that confuses me about the transfer portal is what about the academic credits; surely these credits aren’t transferring for all these schools completely? Or do the athletes that chose to transfer simply not care about that?

Not sure what to make of that... they've been in every game and with some breaks could be 5 and 0. Where is the so-called super senior leadership?

I'd have to guess it would be one of the backup QBs not named Tommy.

If your source knows they might enter the transfer portal then I’m sure the players and coaches know.

Having guys like that in the locker room probably isn’t a great thing.

Being a college football fan just ain’t what it used to be.

It’s sad that we are more concerned for our punters status than the guy who was supposed to be our top receiver. Lol
I think because almost no one feels that Taj not being there cost us the game. Missing Williams hurt.

George O'Leary would say, get rid of the roaches and bring in the ants.
Coach Norman Dale would say…

“Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.” (Heraclitus)

Not sure with all of Taj's antics how Dino didn't kick him off of the team. Then this year he goes to the ACC media days. Now he leaves.
How do you know he didn't. Based on the timing of Taj's announcement and Dino's comments at the presser, it appears to me he was suspended for the game.
