1997 McNaab was wrapped up like a mummy the week before VT, he had issues with both shoulders. He shouldn’t have played and they lost 31-3. He was beat to hell after Wisconsin, NCSt, OU. He needed tulane and an open week to get right.

I would be stunned if Leary plays, I don't remember too many QBs(any?) who had a sling on their arm and played the next weekend. even Dungey "only" played a half of football with a broken foot and was done, and he isn't human, he is cyborg

I believe McNabb threw 3-4 touchdowns on a broken ankle. Not that that has anything to do with this. It's just that I like mentioning former player greatness.
