Hard to believe but we are a 14 point underdog to a terrible FSU team.

I'm so confused by Dino's comments on FSU's physical prowess stature on D, specifically, him referencing them being loaded with 4 & 5* types. Not sure what the number of stars attached to their personnel has anything to do with whether we'll have any success against them.

Possibly, it's just Dino attempting to 'break it to us easy' so to speak come Saturday evening at 7-ish when we have 9 points total or along those lines. That way our "unrealistic" expectations of this season will just continue to be that.

Coaches go out of the way to praise the other team during their game week presser. For FSU, it's low hanging fruit to prop them up that way.

No - I think it does matter in that if he's this way with the media then it's some proof he's a certain way with the players and coaches that is good.

He's not breaking podiums and going off the rails. You get the sense he has a plan.

My post was in jest, hence the , thanks though. Just being a bit facetious as Dino routinely comments about other teams quality, etc., consistently mentioning those recruiting star level statuses and their apparent noteworthiness to him, stating so to the media, etc., yet quite often here their significance gets poo-pooed.

It’s funny when coaches say recruiting stars don’t matter, but then use them to describe teams that have better athletes.
