Any day at an SU game is a great day I look forward to. No matter the results there were many worse things I could of been doing (though I gotta admit that 40 degree rain/sleet in the 4th quarter kinda sucked). Today I made my annual trip to an SU road game and my bi-annual trip that only takes me 15 minutes driveway to parking spot for UC games. Kind of melancholy about the ACC thing only because I lose my UC and Louisville games which have been great as an out of town SU fan. The game surprised me a little bit. Not the result, which I felt could go either way, but that I witnessed up close the exact team we have watched all season. People say SU is "inconsistent". I disagree. For 3 quarters SU was the better team and woulda coulda shoulda had a decent lead entering the 4th. UC's running game really caught up to SU and they just couldn't stop them.

Nassib had some really nice throws. He also under threw a wide open receiver. He has enough weapons to come up with the occasional big play, wish we had a game breaker for him. Refs had a bad game but it wasn't all against SU...not completely...but mostly... Running game seemed ok today, don't have the stats but it didn't hold us back. Has Nassib ever been sacked and not lost the ball? Just asking...

2nd and 12 from the 15 (?) and you run the ball? Really? I know some don't like it when we question play calls but that was stupid. You're in easy (?) FG range already, throw for the endzone twice if you don't make it you're kicking from 32. Brandon Reddish?...I feel your pain pal. Keep your head up. We have some very talented very young DB's. What a waste this year has been for Broyld. Who knows where he ends up but tis a shame he's being wasted, if he's so good you can't redshirt him then use him. He should be getting the ball 7-10 times per game

UC is not a bad team but they played 3 QB's today. Wonder if Munchie get the next start. By the way, that was a 4th string QB that was running the wildcat against us. Wish we has somebody that could do that:bang:.

I love SU! I will miss having them play here regularly. Better days are ahead. I know Loeb is more than likely the starter but would love to see a young guy grab it to give us some more optimism for the future. This years freshman and sophmore classes are going to be pretty good in 2 years. It'd be nice to have a returning starter at QB on that team instead of looking for Loeb's replacement. Sorry Charlie! I'm just saying...

Was nice to see some emotion from Marrone today. What was up with that early challenge on the spot? He got outcoached today by Butch Jones. There's a reason he is always mentioned for job openings every year and Doug...well...isn't.

Go SU! Come back to Cincy soon!

What was up with that early challenge on the spot?
I don't believe the coaches were aware that he'd stepped a couple of yards back. When I originally saw it, I too thought it was a bad spot. The replay (from another angle) made it clear why the spot was where it was.
