My guess is that Barnwell is known to be a non-qual. To keep Brantley and Manley and add Hillard and Pinnex-Odrick would be a hell of a close. Not a pure NT in the bunch but all bigger DE's and 3 technique DT's.

They got the two pure nose tackles last year in Crume and Sloan. Nice that they've been seperated in terms of eligibility as well.

He seems tall to be on the nose, but I'm far from an expert. I was thinking more of the 6-5, not the 3 bills plus. Looking at the roster Sloan is listed at 6-4, so that would fit.

Nothing wrong with a three deep all 310 and higher anchoring the inside.

I saw Jones when he visited didn't look 6-5 to me more like 6-2 but who knows. Big boy though

Barnwell not qualifying isn't a bad thing, he will need a couple of years and will also need to get his academics in order to get in as well as when he shows up.

Coleman is very under the radar as far as potential. Someone on the staff did their homework early on with this kid, a sleeper to keep an eye on. We're still looking at DE because of Barnwell's status. Looks like he's possibly Milford bound, which is not a bad thing for either PB or the program. Hilliard would be an excellent addition and could conceivably play next year. Barnwell needs a year or two to develop.

You may be right. I read somewhere he's actually 6'3" and 305lbs, with a 4.9/40, which is all good, if true.
