SMU is probably 6 or 7 in the state right now. You have TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, UT, aTm and Houston all ahead of SMU. They could close the gap with the jump to the ACC and the backing of their boosters, but it would be a giant leap for them to get to #2 in the state.

Agree about SMU but have a feeling they are going to flourish in the ACC.

To be fair, I outwardly see how one could be upset, however...

The A&M fans clearly didn't read the fine print. He stated the he would not, under any circumstances, encourage current Aggie players to enter the transfer portal and come with him to Syracuse. That is not how he does things.

He never said anything about men who haven't signed on the dotted line yet...

We've talked about this before with the early signing day and the portal day. Coaches are now being hired earlier than ever before. It makes no sense to have guys hired by other schools continuing to coach your team.
