Clearly he'd rather lose to us than play for us...his choice.
Of course we did.I don’t think we reached out.
In the portal
Yes, pleaseI think Fran makes this happen and soon
I was told there wouldn't be math.Position of need + Legacy = correct fit
Yeah but if we are losing a 330 pound DT and replacing him with a 285 pound DT I am not sure that gives me the warm fuzzies. I love the big dawg portal pick up from Marshall was it? Another 330 pounder. Not saying we shouldn't be happy for people to finally get to check legacy recruit on their annual Syracuse bingo card but Rooks doesn't help the DT need at that weight. Now if he is now 315...great! If they move him to strongside DE at 285 great! Otherwise:All I’m saying is if you listened to one of Frans interviews yesterday. He said we lost a DT (Watson) but we are going to pick one up in a day or two. No other comments will be made at this time lol

I mean that is way lighter than I would think we would be going for that position? Not knocking the guy, just not seeing the fit at that weight. Maybe a 3rd down specialist?According to the BC 2025 spring football roster he's 6'5", 282 lbs. Started 11 games and played in all 13 at defensive tackle in 2024.
That's the guy. Thanks. I think I read his brother brought him who is joining as a Freshman.Cris Thomas is a 6-6 327 senior
I would be totally surprised, didn’t come before, and not likely now.Come on home. Is this the DT Fran was hinting at.

Yep and a big difference between 282/85 and 296 to 300. I an using 282 as that is what someone above said was his playing weight. Plus he played next to 335 pound Grant who went to Miami and was a beast. Not trying to diss the kid but anyone saying they want our DTs at 282 are not being sincere. Not saying they are the same player because they are not but, mason graham was a top 5 pick and weighed in at 296 pounds.
