Yeah agreed. Watson is gonna be a day one pick in 2-3 years tbh. Rooks is obviously not Watson but he’s the perfect DT to go with Tank, Thomas and Perry. D-line will be fine and with Robinson coaching them up we’ll be good. With Jobity, Jaquez, Reese and Edwards on the Edge. We just have to stay healthy which has been the problem with a few of these guys

Yep. Really nice recovery here. Hope to see an additional vet add to the WR room and we’ll be in good shape for those positional groups come fall.

I believe so, 2 years at Michigan and 2 years at BC.

I will answer this question honestly. I haven’t watched any of his college film. My guess is that his length/strength combo allow him to cause IOL challenges. If he has plus strength, that would make sense that he’s better suited to be slide inside. I don’t think there’s many SDE walking around at that size. Some, maybe…but not many.

I would say he probably is scheme versatile and could slide to 5t if they wanted to be a little more diverse in their fronts.

After we've lost a few good players, we don't necessarily have to get 3 down players, if they can do some part of the job well, and have some flexibility about where they can play.

Rooks really takes the sting out of losing Watson. George should replace Watson’s production this year. And if Watson stayed and played well Texas or Bama poaches him in next years portal anyway.
