I saw Ishaq play in high school. He looked tall and lanky.
I saw him against Brandon Reddish’s Fort Hamilton team and Brandon Reddish absolutely dominated Lincoln High on both sides of the ball. Brandon was a gamer

Why not? We could use DTs in the rotation, we know he's not an academic risk and he has work ethic, he has a great family, and an awesome nickname. LBI took some lateral mobility and then some but he still cpuld chuck a center or guard back on top of their own qb.

Would be a fun redemption arc too. I, for one, would welcome the Big General back home.

I’m a sucker for a good redemption arc, and I’d love to see him develop into an impact player after everything he’s been through personally and everything that’s happened at Syracuse. It’s a position of need, and the worst-case scenario is that we took a second chance on a genuinely good human - I’ll take that chance every time.
