I was just goofing around with that.REALLY? lol
I like your concept, but there are a ton of dudes that ae not ranked in Florida because they are recruited from high school to high school and have gotten more money than the NIL offers in college football now. Where do you think they got the concept from? South Florida.
Here is a Andrew Stone Jr. who will come in and play as a true freshman at Cuse. & I spoke to his Coach (Riggins) who got the green light from his Mother sign with Cuse.
So we will see what happens AGAIN...

I honestly think that is really classy, powerful thing to not hold grudges and look past potential wrongs. Your input is so appreciated and valued. All day!Dear Orange Passion, I haven't reached out to my nephew regarding commitments because that's never discussed until after the season so kids stay focused on the business at hand.
Second, any fan base should rally behind the head coach at their respective school. Albeit everything is under the umbrella of football, including the recruiting department; sometimes people are more concerned about their job security than the program as a whole.
The reason I removed myself was because I had a pipeline as a former SGA president at an HBCU and FIU in Miami with a multiplicity of players and coaches including St. Thomas Aquinas and Plantation American Heritage (& I was the first Black coach there), as well as Miami Central, Miami Northwestern, and football powerhouses in Miami Dade & Broward. An Orange staff member said to my son "tell your dad that I don't need any help recruiting"...so as a father, I know how people can be petty - I backed off. One staff member who knows me VERY well begged me to let it ( the comment ) go which I did.
I did so for Bear's sake because unlike most people on this forum: if that person had done anything in a retaliatory manner against my son there would be no lawsuits, no punches thrown, no meeting with the administration, just me in an orange jumpsuit. So I removed myself for the sake of my son. The only game I attended was the FSU game in Florida Bear's last year after that. I never had any communication with anyone until Bear graduated.
So for the record, I only attended two Cuse games in person not because I couldn't, but to protect my son's collegiate career.
So please don't take anything out of context...and if there was any misinterpretation I'll take responsibility for that (;I'm not a journalist). But no I don't know what they are doing. As far as telling the fanbase to shup up. That's the has been college football player in me, as well as the football coach in me. I've learned that unless a fan puts their money in the program they are not really committed. The dollar amount is infinitesimal - even if its only a thousand bucks towards recruiting.
For example, Orande Gadson is a good football player, but his teammate was even more of an impact player than he was just overlooked.
That's water under the bridge.
BTW: This is a link to a DLINE player Andrew Stone Jr. North Fort Myers High School. I just spoke to his coach (Coach Riggins). He will commit to Cuse immediately if they offer and he is qualified. HE WILL NOT REDSHIRT!!
SO TAKE A LOOK ORANGE PASSION & TELL ME IF YOU THINK HE WILL HELP US OUT.
I'd also like to thank you for the dialog because it helps us ALL get perspective about our program.

But certainly does not mean you'll let someone continually step on you, that is for sure. Can't let it stick as well.
Thanks for the reply-his video looks great and seems to be a great fit for the 3-3-5. Hope the staff gets on it. In regards to the staff, I wanted Dino as much as anyone before he came and was so excited when he accepted the job. I think the majority of the fanbase is frustrated with the lack of on-field discipline every year. He has also changed from a guy who goes for it on 4th down on his side of the field to angling for a long field goal on 4th and short on the other side of the field. Until the last game, our OL struggles almost every year. The fanbase has reason to be frustrated.Dear Orange Passion, I haven't reached out to my nephew regarding commitments because that's never discussed until after the season so kids stay focused on the business at hand.

He’s Qualified.Based on his Twitter account, he was offered by Liberty and Bethune Cookman earlier in the year, but over the past few months, the only offer is from a Juco. Might not be qualified academically.
One thing I think that would help is, if Cuse offered to bring in Coach Randy Shannon From Florida State. UF brought him in and they began to load up with players from South Florida, and even made him the interim head coach after the former coach was terminated that was to retain the talent they brought in from south Florida, but they thought they had enough talent to do without him. When he left Florida, I was hoping that Dino brought them on board because you see what happened at Florida State. They brought him in as a defense of Analyst because he was the mastermind behind University of Miami’s national championships. Mike, Norville, and everyone in the state of Florida knows that no one has more connections throughout the state of Florida especially in South Florida than Randy Shannon. Which is the reason Mike Norville made him the co defensive coordinator although he’s actually the defensive coordinator and allows him to have the final say on every player that is recruited. Coach Babers has a fantastic system. He just need to get some game breakers in.Thanks for the reply-his video looks great and seems to be a great fit for the 3-3-5. Hope the staff gets on it.
