DL/RB Josh Hough in the portal

I wish the best for Josh. I think some unfair expections were put on him. He had the horrifc knee injury that set him back. I just hope he can get back to a servicable condition and enjoy being a D1 athlete.

For the love of god whyyy

All it takes is for one active father on the twitter/boards and people irrationally love the player. It’s crazy.
Well, if one is expecting him to contribute as a DT next season, it's a disappointment. One can only guess that they have some DT's coming off the portal.

There is already three guys returning with a lot of experience that are only 2nd or 3rd year players. He wasn’t going to jump those guys next year. The HS kid from Buffalo would be ahead of him from the jump. He‘d be battling Barclay for 5th, and if they bring in an older bigger player, then…..

Best of luck to Josh he was for sure a player we all got so excited for and then that horrible injury set him back I hope he has an opportunity to play a significant role for his next school and earns his degree to fall back on.

Did that knee injury cause him to miss both seasons? Or did he have another injury to miss this year?
Its another case of our top recruits in a class not planning out. Hendrix, that big OL from NYC, forgot his name quadir white? That power back continues to elude Dino

No clue

Product of his injury

I know I was berated on here by his dad when I said I had heard it was potentially career ending.

The injury to his knee was significant and caused him to not be able to condition properly.

There was a lot of talk if he would ever play again. I’m happy that he is able to continue to play football. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’ll be at the P5 level. But stranger things have happened.

I wish Josh the absolute best in his future and will certainly be rooting for him

Major bummer based on how talented he was coming out of High School but sounds like injuries really derailed him

I’m disappointed. Seems like a good kid with lots of good football in front of him. And I think he really likes Syracuse. The injury set him back for sure. Perhaps he just doesn’t see a good fit with the position change.

Good luck to him.
