It's an update from today, according to 247. Needless to say, this commitment is written in pencil. I think that Franklin will get a bunch of current Ped State players to transfer. Of course, a lot of them didn't measure up to their press clippings.
I get why they pulled the plug on Franklin, but I don't know if they anticipated the mass exodus of recruits that came with it. It now looks likely that there won't be a new coach in place for the early signing day. BTW, pretty much the entire administrative staff is moving with Franklin to Va. Tech.
I'm sure that the new coach will probably bring many of their players with them, but it looks to me that it'll be a couple of down years until the new program is fully implemented. Latest rumor is the guy from James Madison, Bob Chesney.
