The use of the term "dating" is just weird.

That being said, he needs help. I hope he gets it. And I hope the complainant can get on with her life.

It's the weird way the university insists on phrasing these things, it's "Dating and Domestic" Violence, but it comes off as "Dating" and Domestic Violence. It's supposed to emphasize that it's happening in a relationship, but it just makes it sound weird.

I'm not looking for fan style coverage, but I see why coaches get annoyed with the media sometimes. This happened almost a year ago and they waited to drop the story before a #1 vs. #2 game. It's absolutely a newsworthy story, but we couldn't have gotten some more coverage of a huge game today and released this story literally any other day over the last nine months or next few weeks?

Don’t have any issue with the timing. Sounds like his final appeal was rejected about a week ago, which is probably the main reason for it coming out now.
