Like I said last night, we haven't seen the last of #13.
After the 3rd Q TD on our first drive, we had about 25 yards the rest of the game. Teams are going to dare Shrader to beat them with his arm over and over again.
No reason why DeVito can't hand off to Tucker, even run some RPO and maybe keep the D honest defending the pass.
Don't mean to sound so negative after a win, just not sure how often what we saw last night is a winning formula. We were inches from blowing a 2 TD lead and losing. Maybe I just need to adjust to the idea that defense and running the ball alone can win games for this particular SU team, but in today's college football you almost always need more.
It's a shame that Tommy struggles so much with situational awareness and finding 2nd/3rd/4th targets. Because the way the OL played last night, the way Tucker runs, a lot of it could come together.
