Better chance of playing meaningful minutes in league games this year given the less physical nature of ACC basketball verses if we were still in the Big East?

I would say no. I don't think that was what was limiting freshman minutes in the past, per se. It's just the overall quality of the opponents and value of each possession. JB don't fool around, he wants that W every time out. In Nov/Dec you can get away with a bunch of wasted possessions or blown defensive sets, but in the Big East it had a high probability of burning you. The ACC will be no different.

I would say no because it's just how JB operates. He is a coach you need to earn his trust, especially on the defensive end. Other then Ennis, Roberson, and maybe some spot minutes for Patterson here and there i'm not expecting much. Even as good as Roberson is unless he comes out and shows he is just an absolute beast offensively, i'm not expecting to see him get more then Grant minutes from last season.

I would also say "NO" for the same reasons as already stated. Simply put, if you perform - you play - regardless of your class year. Hard to assess it any other way in competitive, Division I hoops.
