The kid still hasn't stepped foot in the end zone. Rather, he sailed over the corner pylon, breaking an invisible plane that is believed to exist by those imaginative folks who govern the sport.

That's right. Long scored one of those touchdowns in which he never did touch down.

For whatever reason, I read everything he writers in the voice of Andy Rooney. Personally I think that's apt - completely out of touch, has no discernible knowledge or points - yet he gets free reign for whatever reason. Unbelievable.
