Do you agree with Daily Orange Ratings?

Here's mine.
QB - D for Hunt (biggest disappointment of the year), C+ for Long and Wilson based on 1 game.
RB - B for PTG and AAM, C for Erv, D+ for the others who have really failed to show any of the sparkle I expected.
WR - C (they have been open all over the field but their blocking is very poor and they've dropped a ton of balls including TDs)
TE - D (too many dropped passes and missed blocks)
OL - B- (ups and downs and I look for them to do better)
DL - B (better than I though they would do)
LB - B- (if they could only pass cover better)
Secondary C (a lot of the problems are because of scheme but even so, they tackle poorly and have dropped key, easy INTs)
Returners (ugh)
P - A+ (just great)
K - C (wait till next year)
Team C (some anticipated improvement probably in this grade)

Something else to think about is there's 5 qb's in there, and 27 non power 5 players in that 50 as well. Now I'm not saying don't include them, but it's something to consider. Also as long as a first down is still 10 yds, 6.0/carry is very good no matter how you look at it. Now scoring, that's a whole other problem...

Exactly (about the scoring). Against FBS competition only this year we are averaging +70 yards more on offense than last year. However, we are only averaging 0.1 ppg higher (20.2 ppg vs. 20.1 ppg last year)! I guess the only positive is that the Notre Dame (#8 scoring defense vs. FBS) and Louisville's (#3 scoring defense) are behind them now. Unfortunately, here are the scoring defenses that remain: Duke (#7), Boston College (#24), and Pittsburgh (#36). The others aren't as good: Clemson (#46), Wake Forest (#70), and NC State (#90).

Here's a crazy stat. The only opponents on the schedule that average more yards per game against FBS competition than Syracuse are Florida State and Notre Dame. They average 456.2 ypg/39.4 ppg, and 443.3/34.5 ppg, respectively. SU averages 430.8 ypg/20.2 ppg.

Overall there are 66 teams including Syracuse that average more than 400 ypg against FBS competition. Florida State, Notre Dame, Duke, NC State, and Boston College are all in that category. 60 of those 66 teams also average over 27 ppg. Syracuse, Navy, New Mexico State, Idaho, Northern Illinois, and Tulsa are the only teams that average over 400 ypg but less than 27 ppg. Syracuse has the lowest average of the group at 20.2 ppg.
