From what I heard/read, SU was last 6th in, so doesn't that technically mean they weren't on the bubble? I mean don't you have to be one pf the last 4 in / first 4 out to be on the bubble? We've been pretty much been on the bubble for 7 straight years.
I’m thinking it means that you’re not a lock to make the tournament and confusion if you’re getting in or not. From what I heard/read, SU was last 6th in, so doesn't that technically mean they weren't on the bubble? I mean don't you have to be one pf the last 4 in / first 4 out to be on the bubble?
I've always considered "bubble" being 10 seed or lower. I'm pretty sure we were universally considered a 10 seed in 2007, for example. From what I heard/read, SU was last 6th in, so doesn't that technically mean they weren't on the bubble? I tend to agree this could be an upset. First UVA will not have many opportunities to practice before the game on Saturday due to the quarantine and second I think Syracuse exposed a weakness with UVA having difficulty with the press. I am sure Ohio is practicing their press.I love Ohio over Virginia first round.
That’s my big upset prediction.
I get it, then I remember that IU has missed the Tourney four straight years. Perspective.A few years ago Lunardi tried to take a shot at JB, and by rote Syracuse, by saying that he would change the phrase “on the bubble”, to being “on the Boeheim”.
I loathed him before that, more then
ever now, and the entire spectacle is abhorrent to me. But...it’s still better than the alternative.
