I miss playing SU. Easy road trip up I-81. Miss meeting many of you in the Fine Lot. Miss Dinosaur BBQ. Miss sitting in the rafters of the Carrier Dome, which is a fantastic place to be. Hate that we're not in an eastern conference, but thankful that we're not knashing our teeth.
Some of us began in 1989.That's because most on this board began watching SU Football in 1992.
I am in favor of scheduling a home and home with Rutgers. When we were in the same league, we never had a true high level rivalry on the field but the potential for establishing one is there. As a fan who goes to a lot of away games, it would be nice to have one that takes less than 4 hours to drive to. Don't think we are going to play anymore games at MetLife Stadium so a series would Rutgers would fill that void for the NYC area Syracuse fans.I miss playing SU. Easy road trip up I-81. I enrolled at SU in 1991.
Prior to that I followed eastern college football since the early 1980s.
I look forward to the assumptions you will make and the lecture you will give me now that you know that bit of information.
Wait a minute! What was all that 1942 stuff?
