Do you want Va Tech or Pitt tonight?

Not sure why Tech didn't take a knee 3 times. Shotgun snaps and runs? They got away with it at least. Glad they won. Narduzzi is a lunatic

Two observations. The Pitt unis are weak sauce. Narduzzi should get one warning and then get flagged each time he is on the field. He's out of control.

Jamie Dixon taught him well.

Yep and the one guy which was mentioned above was practically wearing biking shorts. How the hell that is allowed I'm not sure.

More like the new Brian Kelly.
I use to love coaches who show all their emotions and passion on the sideline. Thought that meant you were a good coach. I think it looks stupid now. I love that Babers is the total opposite. He is poised and plays chess on the sidelines. He has no time to yell at his players refs and coaches.

I am all for showing emotion, heck I get upset watching games at times, but when your yelling at the refs every play you look like a whiner and come across as annoying.

I think it gives him an advantage. It makes him quicker off the edge. How is that allowed? They should take away some of his sacks that he leads the nation with.

Doesn't matter. I just wanted another look at Pitt. Connor vs. our front seven will be interesting. I think we can score against them.

We just want two more wins. it doesn't matter against who, although taking another skin from a ranked team would be nice.

And the rare times he does yell (the false start against BC), you know the refs got one wrong.

Babers acts the right way on the sideline, it's gotta be a good example for all his kids.

When that Field Judge tried to explain the first down to Narduzzi, he clearly screamed "Oh *** You" back at him.

Football refs put up with so much more than hoops. That should be 15, but the ref let it go.

You think?

I think it's going to take a blizzard to stop us from scoring against them.

I bet Pitt throws more against us than they normally would.

(unless of course, there's a blizzard).

That's really going out on a limb.

Speaking of going out on alimb, did anyone stay to watch the USC-Cal game, (I saw the first half). USC scored on a pass play and the color man went off saying the receiver had pushed off. Thenhe changed his tune to "it's wasn't that blatant" and finally said:

"I can see why the refs didn't call that but if they had called it, I would have agreed with it."

:oops::rolleyes::confused:

Agree totally. Dino gets worked up when it's warranted. I have to think the coaches who go crazy about EVERYTHING are eventually tuned out by the referees. Or at least it doesn't get them many favors

If the third option is for the sinkhole to open up at midfield and swallow both teams alive, then sign me up for option #3.

The boy who cried wolf, yeah, hate that routine. The refs have to tune that out.

I officiate HS football, and I can guarantee you that coaches that go nuts over every plan get basically tuned out. Coaches that rarely get worked up about stuff have much more gravitas when they do get upset about a play. I know when certain coaches say they saw something or I missed something, most likely they are right since they don't flip out on every single play.

What conviction! A backbone of cooked spaghetti.

The problem is that rarely happens in reality. After the Nard dog went nuts a few times, Pitt started getting calls to go their way. In basketball you see it happen all the time. Coaches that complain often get more calls than those who don't.

Oh it absolutely gives him an advantage otherwise he wouldn't be doing it. Besides the fact that it's not to spec, it also puts him at a higher injury risk.
