The two units without returning starters are TE and DL, and a lot of guys got significant PT.

DL is very young, Hastings, Perry, and David O are the only returning upperclassmen out of 15 guys. Those other 12 could be talented, but they need to be coached up.

I don't if they ever gave a number, I believe they said they where not going to 105 this year (2025).

I just looked it up. Hard roster cap of 105 and as far as I can tell you can have as many of those on scholarship as you want.

Reason why, additional cost of scholarships and NIL above the 85. I assume non scholarships players don't get a cut of the revenue share. Also I remember Fran saying he agreed and said that portion of the roster 85-105 would be basically practice only players. So at some point they need to get down to 85. Will see what the roster looks like after the portal.
