Does Anyone Have Stats On How Well SU Does

against teams that are not used to playing against the zone?

It seems to me that in the Big East, and now in the ACC, the teams and coaches who know what the zone prevents, seem to beat us with consistency.

I'd like to know how the zone has done against outside the conference teams. I'm talking long term stats.

Our tempo and poor shooting will let plenty of teams hang around regardless of the zone

FSU was 0-3 vs. us since we joined the ACC, that was bound to end.

Despite the JB "haters" about our NCAA performance:
2010: Lost to Butler without AO in the Sweet 16
2011: Lost to Marquette (a BE opponent) in round 2
2012: Elite 8 Loss to OSU without Fab Melo
2013: Final 4 Loss
2014: Lost to Dayton in round 2

So recently in the NCAAT we've been solidly successful. Every single loss was down to the wire and 2 of them (OSU,Butler) we were without a huge part of our team.

We've had several blowouts lately in a tournament setting, it's tough for teams to adjust to the zone if they've never seen it.
